I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (Lic. #86227), currently working in my own private practice and as a therapist with the Mid-Peninsula Eating Disorder Clinic in Menlo Park, CA. I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco in 2012 and my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Psychology from San Diego State University in 2004. I am a member of the California and Silicon Valley chapters of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and an ongoing member of a weekly CBT consultation group at Stanford University led by renowned Cognitive Behavioral Therapist David Burns, MD.
I have been working with clients for over six years, and my clinical work includes outpatient private practice, a well-respected Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient behavioral health program in Palo Alto, family based services at several area community clinics, and counseling services at middle schools in San Mateo County. I have facilitated groups focusing on a range of topics including disordered eating, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), self-compassion, mindfulness, girls’ empowerment, and many more.
When not working with my clients, I love spending time outdoors hiking with friends and family, playing with my dog, gardening, reading, or cooking a delicious meal.
